Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am replacing most of my lighting with crystal chandeliers in every room that I can including my closets and laundry room. I found this little beauty for one of my small hallways. It is a vast improvement over the previous light I had in the small hallway. I thought the old light shined well until I installed this crystal light. I didn't notice the lack of light my old light shined through clean glass. Crystal light brings more light to your areas because of the spectrum crystal brings when light is shined through it. You can have the best bulbs in the world, but when shined through glass it will be duller than when shined through crystal. This crystal light was super easy to install and came with the crystals already installed. The install was like any typical light. The 9" fixture requires one E26 standard light bulb. The bulb is visible form below, so get a pretty bulb. I chose an Edison bulb in a teardrop like shape. You could easily use a smart bulb with it, just make sure it is a pretty one. I'm enjoying changing my light fixtures for crystal ones. This little light bring happiness and joy anytime anyone sees it with or without the light turned on.
We replaced an old light in our stairwell with this, and we love it. The light plays off the crystals and looks beautiful.
