2-Light Brushed Brass Vanity Wall Lamp

These are delicate and absolutely stunning for a mcm vibe, I’m so excited to have these installed for my bathroom remodel. They do have easy to read instructions and similar lights I looked at from box stores were significantly more. Good buy!

These lights pair nicely on either side of a mirror with a black frame. I would describe their appearance as modern and maybe industrial, but not farmhouse. I've lived in farmhouses, both working ones and conversions to rural dwellings, and these lights would not look right in either setting. Farmhouses are places where you take what you have and you make it do what you want, where fancy materials are something you hear about and wonder why people spend so much money on things that can be done without. These lights are the antithesis of all that. They are artistic, flamboyant, modern and probably fashionable. I like the way they look in my apartment. But if I told my farm friends these were farmhouse look, they would laugh in my face.

Initially I did not like these when I pulled them out of the box. They seemed quite large. However, once I started staging them for the space in which I want to put them, I warmed up to them. In my opinion, they work best mounted vertically on the sides of a mirror. I'd recommend a mirror that is at least 4' by 3' so that these sconces don't overpower they wall. If you are using a smaller mirror, it might be better to mount it overhead horizontally.The farmhouse look is attractive and not too modern. The glass rod shades do tend to make them lights appear to have "hot spots" if you use a smaller E12 bulb. I recommend a longer, cylindrical bulb to spread the light out more evenly in each of the sconce tubes. For bathroom lighting, I like to use the maximum wattage possible for bulbs and put them on a dimmer; using two 60 watt equivalent bulbs does make these lights bright enough for most any bathroom.The sconces are metal and are very well made. I am having electrical boxes put in by a licensed electrician so I don't have these up on the wall yet, but in the testing I have done they will be quite easy to install once I have wall boxes to mount them on.I'm quite pleased with these; they are attractive and very functional.Edit: I was clearing out the box to throw it away and found they ship extra glass rods! Very thoughtful!

This set of sconces is absolutely beautiful and does wonders for my bathroom. They were easy to install and provide a very elegant look. Just under 2 feet tall, they give off a nice amount of light. They are definitely worth the price. Just know that, as beautiful as they are, I do have to dust and wipe them down daily. They gather dust, but that could just be my bathroom. Dusting them daily helps to keep the light looking awesome.
