Bought this for side entrance. Didn't want a traditional fixture that would shine in my neighbor's window. This works great as light shines above and below, not straight out. Looks great and is brighter than I thought it would be.

After recently getting our house painted, I wanted to give it a bit of a makeover. I bought new house numbers and these lights. I love the look of them, and they give off pretty good light too.For the handy person, these are probably easy to install, but for the inept like my husband and me...it wasn't an easy task. Maybe it was the kind of lights we had before, but it was a challenge getting them to fit. We hung them vertically, but couldn't make it work with the one on the back of the house, so we had to go horizontally with that one (it still looks fine).
I was upgrading some things on my house and going for a more modern look. I LOVE this light and how it lights up my new modern style house numbers at night. SUPER MODERN design. LOVE!! And the price is right!
